For those who make their work at home but do not have a kiln (ceramic oven), I offer a firing service. Items can be dropped off during open studio times or on appointment, pick up is after 2-3 weeks. I do my best to work precisely and carefully with all the work in my studio however I cannot take any responsibility for any accidents that happen, that is the nature of ceramics.

Please consult with me before buying any clay or glazes. All glazes will have to be tested on a test tile to check for compatibility and running issues. If any problems occur in the kiln or running on the kiln shelves because of incorrect information or use of clay or glazes, then I will need to charge replacements costs (a kiln shelf is €30) or reparation costs.

Price: €10 per kilogram. For large items (taller than 15cm), an extra tariff will be calculated, this is done individually per item.

Bisque firing: 1000 degrees Celsius

Glaze firing: 1220 degrees Celsius
