Have you previously worked with clay and want to be creative every week, then is the open studio for you! During the open studio hours, you can come and work at your own speed on any projects you like, whether that be handbuilding or throwing. You can choose from several types of clay and glazes and make use of the tools available (basic tools are available but feel free to bring your own specialised tools if you like).
You should have some experience with working with clay (be it handbuilding and/or throwing) and be able to work independently. While Tessa is there to answer some questions that arise, this is not a course to teach. If you want to improve your skills, please have a look at the courses page.
Pricing:
Punch card for 6 blocks of 2,5 hours costs €180. This is including coffee/tea and all materials but excluding firing costs.
Firing costs are €10/kg (pieces are weighed once) and this is invoiced via the app to register for open studio. Pieces that are taller than 20cm will have an extra fee (dependent on size) due to the inefficiency and space in the kiln.
The punch card is valid for 3 months. Participants are welcome from 12 years old. There are 6 handbuilding spots and 5 throwing wheels available. Please read the FAQs properly for information about cancellation/parking/clothing etc.
