Workshop Botanical Impressions

Love the look of everything botanical? Now you can combine those beautiful plants, flowers, and foliage with handbuilding pottery techniques to create some unique pieces for in your own home (or to give away, just in time for Christmas maybe!?). During this two part workshop,  you will discover the wonderful world of botanical impressions.

Part 1 (±2,5 hours) entail making 3 items of your choosing using any of the botanical items available in the season (foliage, leaves, flowers, grasses, etc). You can make 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small item of your choosing – there are multiple options like a bowl, platter, plate, coasters, wall hanging, small dishes, so great to brainstorm some ideas of what you want to make! 

During Part 2 (±2,5hours), you will learn how to inlay colors into the botanical impressions to accentuate all the textures you created in the work and then cover with a transparant glaze to make it all glossy and finished. Pick up of the finished pieces is approximately 3 weeks after Part 2.

Price: 2 part workshop (5 hours) for €125 p.p. This is including all materials, firing (3 pieces), glazes, and coffee/tea.
